The Mignon Seoul: A Gorgeous Paris-Inspired Brunch Restaurant(Gangnam)

Aloha~ 🌺

I stepped out to Gangnam today to enjoy the beautiful warm weather. Everyone usually thinks of Gangnam as just a bustling, crowded area, but...

The Mignon Seoul's exterior, exuding a Parisian Le Marais vibe

How gorgeous is this? Standing in front of this Gangnam brunch spot, The Mignon, you'll feel like you've teleported to the Marais district in Paris! Lol. Let's take a relaxing trip to Europe without leaving the city!

The 1st-floor space with perfect natural lighting for photos

Once you open the red door and step inside, the first floor is so breathtakingly pretty that my friend couldn't stop taking pictures~ It gets super busy during lunchtime, but since we went really early lol, we got to enjoy its quiet, tranquil beauty~

A romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date night!

Not only is the vibe incredible, but both the 1st and 2nd floors have amazing natural light, making it the absolute best spot for a Gangnam date~ You'll totally agree with me once you step inside!

The hygienic and lively open kitchen

You can see the delicious food being made right in the open kitchen. The serving speed is quite fast too, making it a Gangnam restaurant I'm always satisfied with every time I visit!

The private 2nd-floor space filled with sunlight

The 2nd floor has a slightly calmer atmosphere but still has that romantic French feel!! It's cozy, pretty, and full of sunshine!! The tables are spaced far apart, so it feels very private and relaxing~

Every table has a tablet menu and even a hand cream that smells amazing!

If you were worried it might be too expensive because of the luxurious vibe, think again! Fresh salads and brunch menus are in the 10,000~early 20,000 KRW range, and pasta/gnocchi are around 19,000~25,000 KRW. They also have main dishes like Salchi-sal (Chuck Flap) Steak (45,000 KRW) or Polpo (35,000 KRW) for special occasions, making it the perfect choice if you're looking for a Gangnam restaurant with great value.

Tomato Ragu Pasta with a rich, deep meaty flavor

My first pick was the 'Ragu Pasta (23,000 KRW)'! During my last visit, I literally scraped the bottom of the plate eating their savory Truffle Mushroom Gnocchi. This time, I was craving something a bit heavier and richer, so I went for the tomato ragu.

The deep umami of the beef-packed ragu sauce

Because the ragu sauce was slow-cooked for hours with plenty of beef, the rich umami flavor of the meat was truly exceptional.

Chewy and soft egg pasta noodles

It paired so harmoniously with the soft egg pasta! The Mignon Seoul really nails their ragu pasta too~

Eating such a fabulous pasta in a place filled with Parisian vibes, I really felt like I was sitting in a little alleyway in Europe! It was the absolute perfect Gangnam brunch time~

French toast generously topped with seasonal spring strawberries

My second pick is the 'Seasonal Fruit French Toast (23,000 KRW)'! I fell completely in love with this last time, so I had to order it again! During my previous visit, it was piled high with fragrant figs, but this time it was completely swapped out for sweet and tart spring strawberries!

Nutty, moist brioche bread and sweet vanilla ice cream

It’s not just 'seasonal' in name—they generously top it with the most delicious fruits of the season, making this a Gangnam brunch spot I look forward to every single time. Moist brioche bread soaked in butter, topped with vanilla ice cream... This is an absolute cheat code combination that can't possibly taste bad!

A honey-like combo of tart raspberry preserve and smooth mascarpone cheese

It's topped with fresh strawberries and a raspberry preserve, and the dill pairs perfectly with it. Plus, the white part isn't just cream; it tasted like mascarpone cheese. Such a luxurious sweetness!

Sweet, nutty, tart, and fragrant—so many flavors bursting at once! It's such a charming French toast! The flavors of all the ingredients blended so well together, making it a highly satisfying Gangnam brunch menu!

(Final photo) Since I'm a mom, I always come during the day for a Gangnam brunch at The Mignon Seoul, but it feels like it would be a fantastic place for an evening wine Gangnam date too! I'll have to visit again when the seasonal fruits change to eat my favorite French toast~ If you're looking for a place with a fabulous atmosphere, definitely give it a visit!
