Seoul's Hidden Thai Gem: SEOBO, Run by a Current Embassy Chef

Aloha~ 🌺   How is everyone’s week going? After making friendship rings in Songridan-gil the other day, I had some time before my next schedule and was looking for a quick and delicious meal. That’s when my radar caught SEOBO , a famous Thai restaurant  Run by a current embassy chef  in the area. 1. The Hip "Signless" Main Store vs. The Giant Face "Annex" When I first followed the map to find it, I was so surprised. The restaurant is called 'SEOBO', but the exterior still has the old electrical shop signboard saying "Seobo Electric" ! The chef boldly gave up a fancy exterior to focus purely on the "taste of the food." Such a hip flex! But wait... right across the street, I couldn't believe my eyes. There was the "Seobo Annex" with an overwhelming visual! 🤣 It literally looks like a vintage Hong Kong movie set with the chef's face plastered on a giant signboard! It turns out this eye-catching annex is only open on wee...

50% OFF 1++ Premium Hanwoo! The Best K-BBQ Private Room Dining at Sunuga, Pangyo

Aloha~  How is everyone doing? Today, I am beyond excited to share a legendary K-BBQ spot in Pangyo that I visited over the weekend. Would you believe me if I told you that you can enjoy Premium 1++ Hanwoo at a whopping 50% discount just by visiting on a weekend?! Wait, what exactly is 1++ Hanwoo? For those who might not know, Hanwoo (한우) is Korea's native premium cattle breed, highly prized for its deep, savory flavor and beautiful marbling. The "1++" (One Two Plus) grade is the absolute highest rank available, representing the pinnacle of beef quality in Korea. I’ve traveled all over the world and tasted many different types of premium beef, but Hanwoo is honestly my absolute favorite. Here’s why: Japanese Wagyu is famous but sometimes has a bit too much fat, making it heavy, while beef from Spain or Italy tends to be on the leaner side. Hanwoo strikes that miraculous, perfect balance—it has the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness from the marbling, yet retains a rich, ro...

Best All-You-Can-Eat Shabu Shabu in Bundang, Korea : Rowoon Hot Pot Buffet (Yatap)

Aloha~ 🌺 Looking for the ultimate comfort food in Korea? Let me introduce you to one of my absolute favorite spots for Korean-style hot pot:  Rowoon Shabu Shabu ! Located on the 7th floor of the NC Department Store right in front of Yatap Station (Bundang, Seongnam), this place is a local favorite. Why? Because it offers an incredible  All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE)  experience with premium beef, an endless salad bar, and the freshest seasonal ingredients at an unbeatable price. Whether you're planning a family dinner, a date, or a massive feast with friends, here is why Rowoon Shabu Shabu needs to be on your foodie bucket list! 1. The Ultimate All-You-Can-Eat Meat & Veggie Station The best part about Rowoon is the absolute freedom. Unlike some hot pot restaurants where you have to pay extra for every plate of meat, here, the fridges are constantly stocked with layers of fresh beef and pork. You can grab as much as you want without worrying about the bill! Right next to the ...

My #1 Favorite Seaweed Tteokbokki in Korea: Mami Tteok (Bundang_Seohyeon)

Aloha~ 🌺   Today, I’m introducing my absolute favorite table-top tteokbokki ( jeukseok tteokbokki ) spot in all of Bundang and Seongnam!  It’s famous for its unique "Seaweed Tteokbokki," but honestly, the taste itself is just sheer perfection. It’s crazy delicious!! I’m not the only one who thinks so—famous Korean food YouTuber "Tteokbokqueen" also highly praised it! This place is 100% guaranteed to satisfy anyone’s taste buds. Let’s meet the pride of Seohyeon Station, Mami Tteok ! This Seohyeon Station restaurant is located right near the AK Plaza. A little tip: it used to be called "Mario Tteokbokki," so keep that in mind if you're looking for the sign. I’m guessing "Mami Tteok" is short for "MArio MIyeok (seaweed) Tteokbokki" lol. It gets absolutely packed during the lunch rush, so we went a little later and enjoyed a nice, relaxing vibe~ If you do an open-run, you won’t have to wait in line at all! The interior is super cute a...

The Mignon Seoul: A Gorgeous Paris-Inspired Brunch Restaurant(Gangnam)

Aloha~ 🌺   I stepped out to Gangnam today to enjoy the beautiful warm weather. Everyone usually thinks of Gangnam as just a bustling, crowded area, but... How gorgeous is this? Standing in front of this Gangnam brunch spot, The Mignon, you'll feel like you've teleported to the Marais district in Paris! Lol. Let's take a relaxing trip to Europe without leaving the city! Once you open the red door and step inside, the first floor is so breathtakingly pretty that my friend couldn't stop taking pictures~ It gets super busy during lunchtime, but since we went really early lol, we got to enjoy its quiet, tranquil beauty~ Not only is the vibe incredible, but both the 1st and 2nd floors have amazing natural light, making it the absolute best spot for a Gangnam date ~ You'll totally agree with me once you step inside! You can see the delicious food being made right in the open kitchen. The serving speed is quite fast too, making it a Gangnam restaurant I'm always sati...
