Located on the B1 floor of a neat building, Sunuga’s interior immediately struck me as modern and calm. They have a clean main hall and several private rooms of various sizes (for 4, 8, or more people). It is hands down the best place for a quiet family dinner or a gathering with close friends in Pangyo.

I heard it's packed with office workers on weekdays, but on weekends, families keep coming in to take advantage of the massive 50% discount. Plus, the weekend parking is incredibly spacious and free, which is a huge bonus!

But my absolute favorite was the 'Spicy Cuttlefish Salad (갑오징어 무침)'! Usually, squid salads at BBQ joints are chewy and just there for show, but Sunuga’s cuttlefish was unbelievably soft and tender. You will definitely fall in love with it! They also provide personal plates with herring roe, wasabi, and premium salt, along with refreshing water kimchi (dongchimi) and pickled green onions that pair perfectly with the beef.




4. Art on a Plate! The Gorgeous 1++ Hanwoo Special Assortment

Finally, our '1++ Hanwoo Special Assortment' arrived. The cuts were beautifully plated on a black stone with individual name tags, making us feel like true VIPs. Our luxurious lineup included Tenderloin, Ribeye Cap (Saeu-sal), Chuck Flap Tail (Salchi-sal), Thin Flank (Chima-sal), and Rib Fingers (Galbi-sal). Do you see that snow-like marbling? Any doubts about the meat quality dropping due to the 50% discount vanished the second I saw it.

The meat was perfectly aged, locking in the rich juices and flavor. The best part? A professional staff member grilled every single piece for us. This makes it so easy to chat and enjoy the meal with family. Also, the downdraft ventilation system is so well-designed that there was absolutely no smoke smell in the room!



After grilling the meat to perfection, they placed it on a small, candle-lit warm plate on our table so we could enjoy it hot the entire time. Every cut had a different texture and flavor profile, making it a fun and delicious tasting experience.




5. The Classic K-BBQ Finish: Naengmyeon & Stew



No matter how full you are from the meat, finishing with carbs is a rule in Korea! We ordered Spicy Cold Noodles (Bibim Naengmyeon) and Soybean Paste Stew (Doenjang Jjigae). It was the textbook definition of a perfect K-BBQ finish, and the portions were so generous we were about to burst!




6. A Charming Dessert (Injeolmi Perilla Oil Ice Cream)
