A Little Piece of London in Seoul: Bittersalt, a Pet-Friendly Terrace Cafe (Songridan-gil)

Aloha~ 🌺   Today, I’m introducing a hidden gem in Songridan-gil that is absolutely perfect for this warm spring weather! It’s a house-converted cafe with a massive outdoor terrace, and it’s even pet-friendly. Here is my honest review of 'Bittersalt', a cafe filled with a relaxing, European vibe~ How is everyone’s week going? The weather has been so gorgeous lately that it feels like a waste to stay indoors. While looking for a sunlit cafe with a nice terrace for my hangout in Songridan-gil, I stumbled upon 'Bittersalt'! 1. European Vibe Reminiscent of Hampstead Heath, London 🏡 Bittersalt is a cafe built by fully renovating an old house. While most cafes in Songridan-gil are quite small and crowded, I was completely shocked by how spacious their front yard terrace is! From the exterior to the interior details, it instantly reminded me of the old, cozy pubs right in front of Hampstead Heath park from back when I lived in London. Savory furikake oatmeal with egg-Coach's Oat

Savory furikake oatmeal with egg

My morning starts from boiling 2 cups of water.(2/3 cups of oatmeal-for two)
Preparing Coach's oatmeal is so easy and fast.

Today, I didn't wanted to have regular sweet oatmeal.
So...I decided to add some asian touch in my oatmeal.
such as....Japanese furikake(dried sea weed, dried fish, sesame seed...etc)
Please make sure you are buying furikake without MSG.

<ingredients-for two>
Water - 2 cup
Coach's oat - 2/3 cup
Sesame oil - 1/2 table s
Soy sauce - 1/2 table s
egg - 2
Furikake, chilli pepper powder, green onion

Since Coach's oatmeal takes only 5min to cook,
you should cook your egg at the same time.
I added 1/2 table s of soy sauce and 1/2 table s of sesame oil.
Add some furikake and chilli pepper powder if you like.
Remove from heat, cover and wait 1 more min.

My savory oatmeal and egg is ready.
What do you think?
Some sesame and chopped green onion will give the perfection ;)

Yummy, yummy yum yum yum!!
Do you have your own savory oatmeal recipe??
